Welcome to brumstamp

Hello and welcome to the brumstamp website. My name is Andrea Grimmett. I have been involved and in love with philately since I was 8 years old; approaching FIFTY YEARS!! From as far back as I can remember I have always wanted to be a stamp dealer. After returning to the UK from South Africa/Lesotho in 2001 I registered on eBay and had developed my store up to nearly 20,000 items but more recently, due to eBay policy changes I am branching out with this website, my brumstamp facebook page (search brumstamp) and twitter (search @brumstamp). I still truly believe the way forward in stamp dealing and collecting is through the internet and to this end I will continue to grow and offer new and exciting philatelic material.

I have large stock levels of accumulated material sourced over many years but in more recent years I have diversified. My stock is now, for the most part superb, unmounted mint (mnh) material/thematics (I do however carry some First Days Covers and very fine used better items) covering a huge choice of collecting areas: Butterflies, Birds, Owls, Flowers, Orchids, Space, Cars, Trains, Aviation, Reptiles, Dinosaurs, Disney, Antarctic, Minerals, Animals, Cats, Dogs, Horses, and many other topics; the list is growing all the time as I endeavour to develop areas where customer interest dictates. In more recent years I have improved stock levels for Japan, French Antarctic Territories, Mongolia, Russia, France, Aland and Austria. I also specialise in Southern Africa, with strength in Lesotho stock, including overprints/surcharges and varieties. In addition, Canada, Australia, New Zealand... and other Commonwealth material are offered too. I will, in time, be offering postally used material from Southern Africa of which I have vast quantities but too little time to catalogue and list!
